This has been a good week for our Kansas City artist friends. Tonight Melissa Dehner will have her hand-painted wine glasses on display at this event. “Stems: A Garden Soiree” , is a fundraiser for the Arts and Recreation Department of Overland Park to support the amazing Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Garden‘s as well as the Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead. It’s tonight and they will have food, drinks, music and art on display. You may remember her from a previous blog post, here.
Melissa designed and hand-painted 200+ wine glasses for this occasion that attendee’s get to take home with them. She choose to feature a garden’s pollinators, the butterfly, capturing their beautiful colors in the work. Melissa was one of 15 local artist hand-picked to design these amazing wine glasses.
